Stop Telling Yourself These 5 Lies

Sister.

Here are 5 lies that you need to STOP telling yourself now!

I am not good/worthy enough

This is the MOST common lie that I see day in and day out.

Women are constantly measuring themselves against others highlight reel. Stop defining YOUR worthiness by what you see on social media. Stop comparing your chapter 3 to someone else’s chapter 23. Unfollow people who don’t make you feel good about yourself.

Protect your emotional energy.

This also for the mums out there who judged their own worthiness against other mums whether that’s the what’s in the lunch box or being a play centre mum or not being able to  attend school trips because you work full time. We simply can’t do and be all for everyone just do you mumma!

You are a good mum.

Other people make me feel shit about myself

This is simply rubbish. I’m sorry girlfriend but you LET other people make you feel shit about yourself.

The reality is no-one can make you do anything. You are choosing to give your power away.

If you are in a toxic workplace and you’re miserable, find a new job. You are in control of your circumstances.

Does your family pull you down? Tell them that it’s hurtful and choose to spend less time with them.

Your boyfriend/girlfriend doesn’t treat you with respect – dump them! (Kidding, but for real, have the conversation and hold yourself and your relationship to a higher standard)

I can’t afford to

I know this is a controversial conversation, you may be thinking how dare she assume she knows my circumstances and it may trigger you.

There may be some truth in this lie, BUT for the majority of, I’m calling you out!

When it comes to investing into your health, whether that’s training, nutrition, therapy or a course, the truth is, it’s just not a priority for you, because if it was you would move mountains to make it happen.

OR it’s simply an excuse not to show up for yourself for fear or the outcome, success or failure.

I ask you this, what cost of inaction? Can you afford to not invest in yourself?

My current circumstances define me

Your job, your weight, your living situation – NONE of this defines you.

You define you!

You are the creator of your reality and you are in full control of the life you create.

Sure, some of us are currently experiencing challenging circumstances but that does not mean you don’t have the power to change them.

You get to choose, always and you can always choose again.

I’ll be happy when

I’ll be happy when I’m 10kgs lighter.

I’ll be happen when I am earning more money.

I’ll be happy when …

If that’s the lie you want to live out, you are going to miss out on life.

You can be happy right now while in the pursuit of wanting more for your life.

Start by expressing gratitude and noticing all the things you have in your life right now.

So girl, are you ready to stop lying to yourself?
